Please pray for 2H

I don't want to write this.

There is a country in EE (which I am not allowed to name on a public blog, although I am sure most know) that has had many adoptions from Americans. While this sounds great, there have also been cases of child abuse from some of those adoptive parents.

There was also the case a couple years back where a mother sent her adopted son on a plane back to his homecountry alone because she felt she could not cope with his behavior. Obviously this has made the judge more wary of American adoptive parents...

Region 2H has decided to halt all adoptions from Americans. All.

I have no idea how anyone could look into this ONE little girl's eyes and tell her that she must wait even longer now. That she is likely going to be transferred while she waits. Never mind the dozens and hundreds of other kids in this region...

It's not just the kids still waiting, though. It's the ones with families rushing to come get them as well, even if they have already taken their first trip. Unless they have passed court already, they are being told that they cannot adopt their child for an unknown length of time.

That includes Timothy and Constance. Satan is attacking Constance's adoption in particular. First she spent four years without being listed on RR, then she was transferred (her institution is one of the better ones...but there have been families who gave up trying to get a child after he or she was transferred - heartbreaking!!), then the government refused to read the dossier for a while, and now this.

These kids need us. They need our prayers. Please pray that hearts will be changed.

They need to get home.
